Trainwear was orignially a project participating the Fashion Fusion Challenge in 2017 sponsored by Deutsche Telekom. We use pressure sensitive TPM sensors inside clothing to detect sports activities and in turn provide user feedback. Our team won the first place of the challenge and was awarded in the Berlin Fashion Week Fashion Fusion Award Show.
The project was consequently published to the International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications in 2017 in Kona, Hawaii as a technical demo, and won the best demo award.
The project was also later showcased on Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) Berlin in 2017 and the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in 2018
